Tampa Bay Rays shortstop rests while an investigation is ongoing.
The Tampa Narrows Beams said that Significant Association Baseball was researching "web-based entertainment posts" about Meander Franco, the Top pick shortstop. Franco passed on of his group's down on Sunday, and he will miss forthcoming games against the Monsters and Holy messengers, the group said.

Chief Kevin Money said after the game that it was "only a vacation day."
"I'm mindful of the hypothesis," he proceeded. " I won't remark any further on that. Be that as it may, the vacation day was on the grounds that — a free day."
The Beams reported Monday that the group and player "have commonly concurred that he will go on the Confined Rundown and withdraw from the Club for the term of the ongoing excursion." The Beams next play at home on Aug. 22.

MLB.com, The Athletic and The Tampa Cove Times were among those that revealed that the examination was connected with online entertainment posts that blamed Franco for an improper sexual relationship.
In a video presented via web-based entertainment, Franco was contemptuous. " They are saying that I am going around with a minor young lady," he said, adding: " Individuals have nothing better to do with their time."
Franco, 22, is in his third season with the Beams and was a Top pick interestingly this season. He is hitting .281 with 17 grand slams and 30 taken bases.
He was sidelined for two games in June for undefined disciplinary reasons.
